Terms & Conditions

 

PLEASE READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY.
By accepting delivery of any product delivered from Freeland Computer, you ("Customer") agree to the terms and conditions listed below. You and Freeland Computer agree that the following terms and conditions are the exclusive terms governing the sales transaction between Customer and Freeland Computer. Any attempt to alter, supplement, modify or amend these terms and conditions by the Customer will be considered a material alteration of this agreement and, therefore, are null and void. Also, these terms and conditions are subject to change at any time, without prior written notice. Therefore, please check the terms and conditions carefully each time you place an order with us.

Please keep in mind that Freeland Computer is only a distributor. Products sold by Freeland Computer are not manufactured by Freeland Computer. The products may, however, be covered by each manufacturer's warranty, service, and support policy (if any). Freeland Computer assigns and passes through to the Customer any warranty of the manufacturer, and Customer acknowledges that it shall have recourse only under such warranties and only as against the manufacturer of the products. Freeland Computer makes no representation or express warranty with respect to the product except those stated in this document and listed on our website (www.freelandcomputer.com). Freeland Computer disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, as to any such product, including and without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and any implied warranties arising from stature, trade usage, course dealing, or course of performance.


RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Freeland Computer strives for our client’s satisfaction and we make it a top priority! Each item that we ship goes through a rigid testing & quality control process to ensure you receive the highest-quality products.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we will provide you with a refund or exchange. Please see return guidelines listed below:
  • All purchases can be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase for a refund, exchange or credit. No refunds, exchanges or credits will be given after 30 days from the date of purchase. All products must be in its original packaging and accompanied with an RMA number.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, and a 15% restocking fee will be charged on all returned and exchanged items. In the event that an item is found by us to be defective within 30 days of the date of purchase, all shipping fees will be refunded on those returned items and we will pay for any additional shipping costs on items repaired or exchanged. Exchanges on defective products can only be for the exact same item. The 15% restocking fee will be waived on all defective products.

WARRANTY

Part of our commitment to our clients is a return policy that ensures you receive the support you deserve when an occasional problem occurs. Freeland Computer offers our customers a 6-month standard warranty on all products offered on our website, except:
  • Due to manufacturer's policies and security purposes, Freeland Computer cannot accept refunds or returns on Blank Media Cartridges.
  • Freeland Computer cannot accept any software products where OEM packaging has been opened.

RETURNING PRODUCT WITH AN RMA NUMBER
  • To return a product under warranty, please e-mail our Returns Department to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA"). Freeland Computer cannot accept returns without an RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 15 days within which return products must be received by Freeland Computer.
  • Please prominently display the RMA number(s) on the shipping label of box(es) containing the returned product.
  • All product must be received in the same condition as how it was shipped out, including but not limited to original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer and/or Freeland Computer.
  • If any of these instructions are not followed and/or any component(s) of the returned product(s) are missing, Freeland Computer will be forced to reject receipt of the product and/or void the RMA #.
  • Beyond 30 days, a 15% restocking fee will be charged on all non-defective items returned for exchange or refund. The restocking fee will be waived on all products determined by Freeland Computer to be defective.
  • Exchanges on defective products can only be for the exact same item.
  • Some returns, which require time and thorough testing, turn out not to be defective. While we strive to offer a no-nonsense approach to customer satisfaction and support, unwarranted returns inhibit our ability to be more responsive to customer needs. For this reason, RMA returns deemed to be non-defective are subject to a $75 service charge. A 15% restocking fee will also apply if customer requests a refund on this equipment return.

PAYMENT TERMS - ORDERS:

An order is not binding upon Freeland Computer until it is accepted; Freeland Computer must receive payment before it will accept an order. Payment for product(s) ordered is due prior to shipment. Payment terms are within Freeland Computer’s sole discretion, unless otherwise agreed to by Freeland Computer. Customer can make payment by credit card, wire transfer, or some other method prearranged with Freeland Computer. Your order is subject to cancellation by Freeland Computer at Freeland Computer’s sole discretion. Freeland Computer is not responsible for pricing, typographical, or other errors, on any offer by Freeland Computer and reserves the right to cancel any orders resulting from such errors.


SHIPPING CHARGES, TAXES, RISK OF LOSS
Freeland Computer offers FREE UPS/FedEx GROUND shipping on all purchases within the Continental US.

Shipping and handling charges beyond the FREE GROUND service  are additional unless otherwise expressly indicated at the time of sale. Most orders are processed and shipped the same day if received prior to 3:00 PM (CST), otherwise it will be shipped the next day. Shipping costs are based on package curve weight/geographical and actual UPS/FedEx services charge. Packages are shipped from our warehouses in Central Texas and Southern California. Prior to placing an order, please notify us by phone or e-mail if you want us to use your UPS/FedEx account number for shipments. Shipping dates are only estimates. You can track your item with UPS/FedEx tracking systems located on their individual websites.

Freeland Computer will ship product(s) to the Customer Freight On Board (F.O.B.) shipping point. This meaning title to the product(s) and risk of loss passes to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier.

You must notify Freeland Computer within 14 days of the date of your invoice or acknowledgement if you believe any part of your purchase is missing, wrong or damaged. 

Customers within the State of Texas and California are subject to a state tax, unless you provide Freeland Computer with a valid and correct tax exemption certificate applicable to your purchase of product(s) and the product(s) ship-to location. You are responsible for sales and other taxes associated with the order.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
You (“Customer”) agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Freeland Computer harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from any damages or injury resulting from your access to, or inability to access this site, or from your reliance on any information contained in this site.

IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES FREELAND COMPUTER’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCTS SOLD. FREELAND COMPUTER SHALL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, BE LIABLE UPON A CLAIM OR ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT, INDEMNITY OR CONTRIBUTION, OR OTHER CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PRODUCTS IT SELLS WHICH EXCEEDS THIS LIABILITY LIMIT. FREELAND COMPUTER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THIRD PARTY CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES AGAINST THE CUSTOMER, OR FOR MALFUNTION, DELAYS, INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, WHETHER OR NOT FREELAND COMPUTER IS APPRISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH CLAIMS OR DAMAGES.
